🎚️ Home Recording Mixing Workshop

You managed to record at home — but froze the moment it came to mixing?

Sound engineers and musicians of Gyeonggi Art Collective gather to share their home-recording and mixing know-how. From gain staging to taming EQ and compressors, pulling vocals to the front, and monitoring that's slightly-less-wrong in a small room — this is a place to trade the hands-on tricks people actually use, not textbook theory.

Less a lecture handing out the "right answers," more a mutual-aid session where we open up each other's projects and share "here's how I do it." Bring a track you're working on — we'll listen and tweak it together.

💰 Fee: ₩20,000 (free for cooperative members)

Home recording setup: interface, mic, and room conditions
Gain staging and keeping tracks tidy before they get messy
EQ and compressor fundamentals, applied in practice
Balancing vocals, guitars, and drums
Using references and building a monitoring environment
Working through sticking points together (Q&A)

📌 Notes

Bringing a laptop and headphones helps with the hands-on part. (You can join without them.)
If you have a track in progress (stems or project file), we'll listen together.
