We Breathe through Art,
and Forge Our Path through Cooperation
In every studio, stage, and workshop across Gyeonggi-do, there are artists who shine with their own unique light. We join hands so that light may not flicker alone, so the creative journey may not grow weary.
Our Purpose
In an era when passion alone is not enough to keep the flame of creation alive, we stand before walls of creative solitude and uncertain realities. Amid these challenges, we reach out to artists who were once scattered, to become pillars of strength for one another. The Gyeonggi Art Collective Cooperative — a producer cooperative established voluntarily by artists based in Gyeonggi-do — is that first step of hope.
Our cooperative aims, through autonomous, self-reliant, and self-governing cooperative activities, to support artists in Gyeonggi-do, foster the sustainability of creative work, and contribute to the vitalization of the regional cultural arts ecosystem. To this end, we actively carry out education, training, and information-sharing activities for our members, committed to being a steadfast partner to artists.
We will also pursue diverse projects — music production and distribution, concert planning and management, arts education, and more — opening pathways for our members' creative work to be properly valued and reach audiences. This will lay the groundwork for sustainable artistic practice, empowering members toward economic independence so that their art becomes a source of vitality rather than a threat to their livelihood.
Our stage spans all of Gyeonggi-do. Through cultural arts education for local residents and students, and through close collaboration with other cooperatives and regional institutions, we aim to build a culture where art flows naturally into everyday life. We envision a cultural community where creators, planners, supporting members, and all who share our vision inspire one another and cheer each other's new challenges.
The Gyeonggi Art Collective Cooperative is a plaza where the dreams of individual artists come together to build a greater world. We invite your warm interest and participation in a journey toward a future where artists' rights are respected, the joy of creation abounds, and its fruits are shared with the community.
A Message from the President

President Choi Hee-cheol
“To my fellow artists. Hello, I am Choi Hee-cheol, President of the Gyeonggi Art Collective Cooperative. I understand, perhaps more than anyone, the sense of helplessness that comes with the word 'alone.' I believe our coming together will carve a warm path through that helplessness.”
“Here, not only your successes but also your failures and struggles become precious assets. Please don't hesitate to share your voice. We are always ready to listen.”
